The pressure line filter is located in the pressure path of the hydraulic circuit. For example, it may be located in the pump pressure line before a servo valve or before a flow control valve that is set to a very low flow.

The pressure filter is usually placed before the unit to be protected and usually protects all system components.

These filters are more expensive than other types of hydraulic filters.

Pressure line filters are made of very fine mesh that absorb very low contaminants up to 5 microns and do not allow contaminants to enter the system.

Hydraulic filters include return line filters, pressure line filters, suction line filters from the brands: PARKER, HYDAC, REXROTH and EATON VICKERS.
