What is a Grippul Device

In U-Type converters, RayTube operation is a bit difficult, so you have to first release the two ends of the tube from the tube sheet with a Tube Cutter. To do this, the two ends of the tube are first cut about 2 inches in front of the sheet tube, and the Grippul is pulled out. So that the rest of the tube, part U, can be removed from the end of the converter using a pneumatic winch or similar tool.In this design, a completely hydraulic device called a tube killer performs the operation of pulling the tube. Stub puller speeds up the operation of the re-tube.

Due to the destruction of sheet tubes during re-tubing and the damage applied during the extraction of tube, the importance of this device is well known. Stub puller pulls out the tube without the slightest damage.
